A public journal for my studies, explorations and reflections that mostly revolve around computation, software, intelligence of all types and laws of nature. I am highly influenced by the ideas of Douglas Hofstadter and Melville's way of meditation and reflection which I try to copy to the best of my feeble abilities.

A short note

ሰላም (it means hello and peace), this is Bereket (Heruy) and welcome to my corner of the internet where I think, build and reflect.

I am working as a software engineer full-time and recently started focusing more on AI/ML engineering. I've also been helping organizations with their technology needs as a technical consultant. I've put links to my resume, github and socials where you can find details of my work. This site is a digital logbook of sorts but I think it can serve as my portfolio too. I don't want to display or push any technology stacks in an overt manner. I believe the foundations are much more important anyways, especially nowadays.
